A rich, creamy, and easy-to-make chocolate mousse that’s perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 200g dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
- 3 eggs (separated)
- 250ml heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Break the dark chocolate into small pieces and melt it using a double boiler. Stir until smooth and let it cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form.
- Whisk the egg yolks with sugar until pale and creamy.
- Gently fold the melted chocolate into the egg yolk mixture.
- Fold in half of the whipped cream to lighten the mixture.
- Gently fold in the remaining whipped cream, keeping the mousse light and airy.
- Spoon into serving cups and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor. Chill for at least 2 hours to allow the mousse to set properly.
