A nostalgic, buttery peach cobbler made easy with cake mix—just like Grandma used to make, but faster.
Ingredients

- 2 cans (15 oz each) sliced peaches in heavy syrup (or 4 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced)
- 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
- ½ cup unsalted butter, sliced into thin pats
- Optional: 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Optional: 1 tbsp brown sugar
- Optional: pinch of nutmeg or almond extract
- Optional: chopped pecans or granola for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Pour peaches and all their syrup into the dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar if using.
- Evenly sprinkle dry cake mix over the fruit—do not stir.
- Top with thin slices of butter, covering most of the surface.
- Bake uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes, or until golden and bubbling at the edges.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, Greek yogurt, or whipped cream. Store covered in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
