Description
A classic, indulgent chocolate muffin recipe that’s easy to make and packed with rich cocoa flavors and chocolate chips.
Ingredients
Scale
- 200g of all-purpose flour (or rice flour for a gluten-free version)
- 120g of brown sugar (or maple syrup for a natural version)
- 4 eggs (or powdered eggs for a quick preparation)
- 150g of melted unsalted butter (or coconut oil for a vegan version)
- 100g of dark chocolate chips (or a mix of chocolate and chopped nuts for added crunch)
- 100ml of fresh cream (or Greek yogurt for a healthier version)
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 pinch of sea salt (optional but recommended for a balanced flavor)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a muffin tray or line it with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and sea salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, fresh cream, and melted butter.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Add the chocolate chips and distribute them evenly.
- Fill the muffin cups 3/4 full and bake for 25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
Notes
Avoid overmixing to prevent dense muffins. Customize with nuts or fruits for a personal touch.
